The development of a new school provided Polypipe WMS with the opportunity to prove the value and effectiveness of its hybrid modular cell solution.
To counter difficult site constraints and varying burial depths, Polypipe WMS supplied over 3200 modular cells which were installed as two separate structures, balanced by eight lengths of 300mm Ridgidrain pipe to provide a soakaway solution. In addition to this, Polypipe WMS also supplied a catchpit to prevent the intrusion of debris and silt into the system – improving performance and prolonging the life of the cells.
The adaptability of the Polystorm and Polystorm Lite modular cells was a major factor in Polypipe WMS winning the contract and a close working relationship with Kier Northern ensured that the appropriate solution was supplied and installed.
